Pedestrian Visibility
Tip #7 Be seen while walking, jogging, or rolling in dark lighting conditions.
Wearing dark clothing at night or in low-light conditions is dangerous. Drivers may not see you until it's too late. In fact, two-thirds of pedestrian fatalities and serious injuries occur in low-light conditions. At dawn, dusk, and nighttime, always wear bright or reflective clothing. Reflective materials can be spotted up to three times farther away.

- Wear reflective materials and white or bright colors in dark lighting conditions (at night, in the early morning hours, etc.) to increase visibility.
- Avoid dark clothing when possible.
