Tip #2 Cross streets and driveways in front of vehicles - never behind them.

Pedestrians crossing between parked cars or behind vehicles waiting at a traffic signal are difficult to see by other motorists.

• The safest place to cross the street is at an intersection or a crosswalk (Tip 1). 
• Make eye contact with the driver and wait until the vehicle stops before entering the marked crosswalk or intersection (Tip 6).
